Just like the title says, it's been too long. So many things have happened that i don't even know where to start. Well, I'm still in my Masters studying literature. I'm in my last semester of classes and soon I will be taking my examinations. The problem with this is that i don't know in what area i will be doing them. I need to pick two areas. I wanted to work with the eighteenth century novel but I also wanted to work with witchcraft and fairy tales in my thesis. My Professor recommended me to work with either fantasy or Gothic literature. Which, now that i think about it, makes sense. But i don't know which to choose. the biggest problem is that i like a little of everything but i don't feel like i know enough of anything.
For good news, I became an aunt this summer thanks to my sister who had a little baby girl named Laila Marie. She was born August 2 and I went to NY to see her (I will add pictures of Laila later on). She is my very first niece so I was excited. I also got to spend some time with my sister and her husband. I didn't like him at first and in fact I hated, but after spending some time with him, I don't think he's so bad.
More good news is that I am going on a trip to London in April with my friends magicalvamp and minus_you. I'm especially looking forward to seeing the Tower of London. We are also supposed to see seven plays and St. Paul's cathedral. Its a bit expensive so I had to take a loan out and i will be working next semester to try to pay it off but I think its worth it since I might not be able to go in the future.
I also have new roommates this semester. They seem to be pretty nice. We are all watching Supernatural. Since they had never seen them before, I have been showing them by dvds. I love watching it with them because they get scared really easy and I get to watch the episodes over and over again. I don't think I will ever get tired of Dean or Sam. They are just too delicious.lol. I want to get the third season but I will have to wait because I'm broke right now. Well, I'm going to have to stop here but I will try to be back more often.

Christmas is over, the new year has arrived and I'm sick. Not bad all in all. Christmas was nice, my parents got me a pair of sneakers that i wanted and i got shirts adn pants that I'll be using for the new semester. New Years gave me lower back pain but between my cousin and my brother's fireworks, my other cousin's birthday and the fact that I beat my parents at domino's I actually had a lot of fun. Truthfully even though I'm sick, this is probably the most relaxed that I've been in a long time. I've been reading, watching a few movies, sleeping and taking it easy.
A part of me doesn't want the new semester to begin but next wednesday I have to get back to the university in order to pay for my classes and find out if I'm going to get money. I hope this semester will be better than the last. I also hope it will be less stressful. Just like every year, I plan to do try my best to complete my assigments a little bit earlier but this hardly ever works out for me, but I will try.
Oh, I almost forgot, I actually bought a dress. I don't know why but I really wanted one. I just woke up one morning and decided to go buy one. I think I might actually buy a skirt too. Only time will tell on that one. Well that's it, Happy New Year everyone!

Well, the semester is finally over. I can't say I'm not happy because I am. I learned a lot even though none of it will help me in the future. Of my classes, I enjoyed my Age of Johnson class even though I learned too much about my professor's life, I had fun in Victorian poetry with my new laid back professor, my film class was interesting as always and the only two classes that sucked big blue was my critical writing class in which we did not do any critical writing and I also had a make up assignment to rewrite about Agamemnon in which I learned to hate with a passion.
Other than this, this semester was fun and interesting. Juan's birthday was probably the most interesting but I won't get too into that right now and Mari's was fun too. In Mari's I learned that I have trust issues but I think I'm getting better. I just have to work on being cuffed and not kicking though. The kicking caused my camera to have an accident but luckily its still working. Let me see, what else has happened this semester?... oh yeah, I blew a rasberry at one professor and I made an idiot of myself with another professor thanks to a sugar rush. Oh and I learned that I like too much sugar with my coffee.
The best news of all was from my sister. I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!!!! I was so happy about that that went with my mom to check baby things. My sister only has about a month and a half. Also one of my best friends gave birth on tuesday to a beautiful baby girl. The baby's name is Shakina but I prefer to call her Lea. She's really cute. Also Congrats to magicalvamp who is also an aunt to a baby girl. Wow, so many babies. Well that's it for now I guess, hopefully I'll be writing more often now that the semester is over. Hello everyone, just so that you all know, I haven't died or disappeared from the face of th earth. I've been doing my masters which is probably much worse. My classes are better than last semester but I'm still pretty busy. Everything is going well but I also seem to be hooked with facebook. I blame Mari for that. But like I said, I do like my classes and my Professors (who are all kind of strange in their own way) but I do have a lot of work. I'm actually writing here because I don't want to read an extremely long poem called Amours de Voyage by Clough. IT'S SO BORING!!!!! Ok, well that's it for now, so bye, bye.

Well, the semester has officialy started and so far things don't seem so bad. I like my classes and I think I might actually survive it a little better this time. True, I have a bit more work to do now but it doesn't seem so bad. I've even started walking at the track again with MAri and I've started eating fruit again. The day is supposed to be good, so I hope it doesn't change. Well, I hope it does rain but I'm not that lucky. So yeah, that's it. I have nothing else to say. I'm trying to waste time. I should do my work. "Should" being the key word. Yup... Ok, I'm done.

-The sky is not blue, it can be pink or purple, hell lets pretend it's polka-dotted.
-God made animals cute and furry so that we would love and take care of them, the Devil made them cute and furry so that we would want to love and take care of them in order to make it easier for us to be killed and end up as their lunch.
-Newborn babies are not cute, they look like weird aliens.

-For some strange reason I have found men who swear that some women don't pass gas in any form. These men are delusional.
-Hell is hot and so is Puerto Rico.
-When you're driving and people walk on the road in front of your car, it's because they want to commit suicide and they think you can help them. HELP THEM!
-Singing "I Will Survive" or pretending to box while listening to "Eye of the Tiger" is still fun, especially when no one can see you.
-Little kids are stupid. (I don't think I need to say more on this subject)
-God gave man the idea for paper and pencils, the Devil gave man the idea for computers and anything else that involves technology.
-If no one has noticed, I'm kinda bored right now.

Well, I'm finally back. School has started and I'm already wasting time on the computer waiting till it's time to take my first class. It actually feels good to be back on a computer. I haven't had internet service for a few weeks because my computer decided to be a pain. Damn technology! It hates me so :(
I have a new roommate in the apartment, I would tell you her name but I forgot what it was. She seems nice though, but then again I met her just yesturday for about 5 minutes. Also, my apartment has been fixed up a little. The kitchen had a new counter and they finally fixed the cupboard in the bathroom. Now, if only they would fix the front door. Anyway, everything else seems alright in the apartment.
Well, I gotta go, I'll write more later.

Wow, so long has past. Well, lets see. I spent about four days with my brother in his apartment in Carolina so that I could go to work with him and also go to the Harry Potter midnight party. He even took me to the beach. It was real nice hanging out with him, I actually don't get to see him as much as I'd like to.
Well first of all, like I said, I got to go to work with my brother on the set of an HBO show called The Wire. They were shooting in La Perla. I don't really know anything about the show but it was fun anyway. I was a PA but mostly I worked with the Extras. Taking them to wardrobe and make-up, getting them on the set and doing a couple of lock-ups on the street and other stuff like that. The only time I wasn't sure what to do was when they asked me to do a fire-watch for a stakebed that had two guys and the recorded film in it. I had no idea what that was, it just meant to watch the equipment. It was a real long day. We were there from 6 in the morning to around 7 at night. Then my brother and I went for a couple of drinks with a friend of his who was part of the crew, she did transport.
Two days later I went to the Harry Potter midnight party with my brother (he really doesn't like Harry at all) and met up with magicalvamp, random_columns, and nekoeyes. I even saw si6nifi3r there. It was a lot fun and I saw some really good costumes. I'm going to have to put pics next time because I loaded them onto my laptop and I lent it to my brother for work (he comes back home in about 2 weeks). However, I did finish reading the Deathly Hollows and I loved it! I felt bad that it was the last one but it was really good. Oh, and I have come to the conclusion that Harry Potter is real. Lol. Just kidding.

I saw the Harry Potter movie on wednesday and DAMN, the guys looked good! I went with a friend on mine and my little cousin. I never expected it to be so packed. There were so many people that when we got there we had to split up. Even the bottom rows were full. There were things I didn't like about the movie, like Dumbledore and Sirius' death for example, but I did love a lot of things about it, especially Fred and George and seeing Harry get smacked. I also loved Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood, she was just like I imagined her when I read. I just loved all of it. The movie was great.
Oh and I finally got permission to go to the midnight party at Borders. YAY ME! Now I can't wait to get the book next saturday. Now that I think about ti, this month has been pretty good.
